The Grave of Katherine Embry A 19Century Gothic Romance Renee Ross Books
Good book. Renee Ross pens tales in the tradition of Victoria Holt, Dorothy Eden and other '70s grand dames of the Gothic genre. The writing is strong, the locale creepy and there are plenty of twists and turns to keep the reader interested late into the night. The Grave of Katherine Embry is reminiscent of an abandoned Jane Eyre who befriends the below stairs staff of Downton Abbey for solace and mystery. It was a lovely book to read at night. A recommended title to those who enjoy traditional Gothic novels.

the book drug a little but it kept you guessing til the end with a lot of plot twists and turns
Very well written and a good read!
This story is filed with twists and turns making it almost impossible to put down. I really enjoyed reading this book and I hope you will too.
When the book starts it is of a loving brother and sister traveling to a destination that will leave the boys sister with her grandmother, so the brother can continue his education in medical school. But the grandmother is a strange person and it has a very surprising ending. It is a Cinderella type story. But very very good.
