I felt this book has been a unique perspective on Christianity and life in general. Parker's writing reminds me a lot of A.W. Tozer, who also had a deep love of God. The book packs more punch in the later chapters, where he tackles some of the harder issues for Christianity. There's also important insight on how the church of Christ can change to be more organic, and to encourage participation from everybody like the Bible teaches. It's a powerful narrative, I would definitely recommend it.Product details
